Hi, I'm Sam! I'm the owner and photographer behind Fairview Photography, based in Orpington, Kent, where I specialise in capturing your special milestones. From Maternity and Newborn sessions to Cake Smashes, Children's Portraits, Family Photograph and Christenings, my passion is preserving the present memories you will share in years to come.
my approach
My reason why...
Before becoming a photographer, I spent 15 years as a primary school teacher. Working with children has always been at the heart of who I am, but becoming a Mummy to my 2 daughters gave me a whole new appreciation for how quickly childhood passes. Watching my daughter grow made me realise that the little moments - the giggles, cuddles, tiny hands and chubby feet - are the ones we want to hold onto forever.
That's what inspired me to create Fairview Photography.
I wanted to give families beautiful, timeless photographs that celebrate every milestone and preserve the people they love most. Images that will be shared with love in 10, 20 or even 50 years time.
What to expect
After completing my photography training, I transformed my garage into a cosy studio (with the help of my Dad!). It has become my happy place - a warm, welcoming space designed to help you and your little ones feel completely at ease. Whether you're bringing a sleepy newborn, an energetic toddler, or the whole family, there is always a relaxed atmosphere... and of course a hot cup of something on offer!
My sessions are never rushed, I believe the most beautiful photographs come from genuine connection, laughter and letting children simply be themselves.
